Sharing Economy Association, Japan (the"SEAJ") sets the privacy policy ("the policy") as follows, which Involves the management of personal information. SEAJ takes your privacy extremely seriously in accordance with the policy.

In the policy, personal information refers to e-mail address, cell phone e-mail, name, things which can identify specific individuals, address, occupation, complaint, consultation or inquiry, etc. By one or more of these information, we can identify a specific individual.

Management of Information

To ensure the safety of personal information seriously, SEAJ endeavors to prevent the following situation, such as unauthorized access , tampering, leakage, loss, and destruction of persional information. In the case of an accident happens, we will respond promptly to limit the possible damage.

SEAJ may collect the following information, which includes name, address, e-mail address, and other information in a questionnaire form if necessary.

On the use of personal information

The main purposes of gathering personal information use are as folllows:

  • Transfering SEAJ information of networking events, study sessions, and other events.
  • Surveys and data collection.
  • Responding to the inquiries or other requests
  • Consultating with SEAJ users for prior contact checks.

Third Parties

We will properly manage the personal information and will not provide it to the third parties except the following cases:

  1. Obtain the consent from the information provider.
  2. When public information related to officers of corporations, other organizations, or provided by the third-party, which were notified to the information provider or publicly announced in advance.

For those who have registered personal information (e-mail address / address), SEAJ will acquire the permission of sending direct emails which are deemed to be useful to the users in advance. It is also possible to cancel the permission afterwards.

Change / Cancellation of Personal Information

SEAJ will corresponse to the request from the user or his/her representative to disclose, revise, add/ delete, stop, erase/ stop offering to the third party of user's personal information. If user wants to change personal information, please implement the change procedures through inquiry form. We will correspond to user's request only if we can confirm the user's identity.

Retention Period and Usage Period of Personal Information

User can request to disclose their personal information which kept and managed by SEAJ. However, in order to prevent the information leakage to the third parties, we will disclose the information promptly only when we can confirm the user's identity.

If the user lose their qualification of membership, we will delete user's personal information. Also, if there is a request for deletion / correction from the user, we will delete and correct the information immediately only when we can confirm the user's identity.

SEAJ uses this technology for optimal display of internet advertisement, understanding the number of users, and omitting of re-entering.

We will endeavor to prevent protection against unauthorized access to SEAJ server from outside of our network.

Request to minority Users

We will ask underage uses to acquire the permission from their legal guardian brfore entering their personal information to SEAJ.
